Many graduate students become parents while in school, and often new moms need places to pump breastmilk regularly throughout the day. The gender equity team will be meeting with UW administration soon to discuss the state of lactation stations which are guaranteed by our contract under article 19, section 7. To inform the meeting we’d like to get a sense of student awareness around these resources and, for those students who use them, whether their needs are met.
