Thanks to all who attended our debrief meeting on Tuesday!  Volunteers from that meeting are preparing a survey to be sent to all members soliciting feedback about our contract campaign: please keep an eye out for this in the coming days.

SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING ON 6/21

This meeting will be on 6/21 from 5:30-7pm in a room on campus (TBD). As always children are welcome and you may sign up to become a member at the meeting.

MASS TEXTS

A number of people have written in and expressed concerns about mass texts that were sent on 6/2. As we wrote previously, this was not an official union text, and was sent by accessing numbers that were available through phonebanking lists.  These lists have been deleted and removed and we have re-set permissions and passwords to all union lists and databases. We want to extend our sincere apologies for this and please rest assured we are taking additional precautions in the future to ensure that privacy of information is maintained.  Please email us at uaw4121@uaw4121.org if you have additional questions or concerns or would like to help discuss other solutions.

STEWARD ELECTIONS

All members in good standing will be eligible to accept nomination as departmental stewards from June 14-June 24. You can expect another email soon with a short form to accept nomination, including information about steward responsibilities and how many steward positions your department has. All departments will have at least one, and departments with more than 50 people will have one for each 50 people.

In Solidarity,

UAW 4121 Bargaining Committee
