Please take a moment to ensure your mailing address is up to date for an important UAW election this fall!
Last Fall, UAW members across the country voted to establish direct elections for officers of the UAW International Executive Board (IEB). Under this new system, IEB members (including International President, Secretary-Treasurer, 3 Vice Presidents, and 9 Regional Directors) will be elected through Union-wide elections in which all UAW members will be able to directly vote for nominated candidates. IEB elections will be held this October & November 2022 via mail-in ballot, and all UAW members in good standing as of October 31, 2022 will be eligible to vote.
To ensure you receive your ballot, please make sure the mailing address you have on file is up to date. Addresses we have on file typically come from the membership card you submitted or from employment rosters submitted by UW. On 9/29/22, members should have received an email containing the mailing address currently on file for you.
Your required action:
- If this is the mailing address where you can receive a ballot in October 2022, and you are still a member, you don’t need to take any action.
- If this is not the right address for you to receive mail in October 2022, and you are still a member, fill out this short address update form as soon as possible.
- If you do not have any address listed above, that means we do not have an address on file for you. You must provide your address by October 31, 2022 or you will not be able to vote. You can provide your address by filling out this form.
- If you’ve left UW and are no longer a member, please fill out this short form.
