UAW4121 is honored to be working closely with a broad coalition of Washington organizations to usher in a fair, clean energy economy and truly address carbon pollution in our state. This month we stepped into a formal role with the Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy and became a member of the steering committee. Together with dozens of organizations across the state spanning labor, business, environment, faith, and justice groups, we’re advancing a policy that will prepare our workforce for a new clean economy, protect our health, advance equity, and draw down carbon emissions.
Check out the rad new campaign video (it’s gone viral already!) from a recent event here in Seattle with many familiar faces from UAW4121.
We are committed to winning a state carbon policy in 2018. To do that we need to help recruit 10,000 volunteers for our coalition, the Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy. No small task, but worth every ounce of effort.
Join us this Sunday, for a training workshop to learn how to move this campaign forward.
And if you’re in dissertation mode or otherwise swamped with work, a small but significant way you can support this effort is by sharing the campaign video and Facebook event with your friends on social media.
Hope to see you this Sunday, and please pass along this info to your friends!
