To highlight the vital and diverse work that academic student employees perform at the University of Washington, UAW 4121 is introducing an “ASE of the Week” media campaign. Our featured ASE for this week is Natalie Schmidt, a PhD student in the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences. Natalie works as an adviser in the Robert E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Program, where she helps underrepresented undergraduate students prepare for graduate school.
