BARGAINING CAUCUS OF MEMBERSHIP TODAY AT 4:00PM!
Our contract expires tonight. We are prepared to negotiate as long as it takes to secure a fair contract for all ASEs. But we need your help. We are asking all available ASEs to attend a bargaining caucus today at 4:00pm at Roosevelt Commons West, Room 271, so we can discuss the state of the negotiations and our options going forward as a collective in the final hours of bargaining.
UAW 4121’s contract proposals support UW values by ensuring equity protections and economic stability for academic student employees. UW’s current contract proposals are untenable for our membership. In addition to not fulfilling its ethical obligations to support students and employees, UW risks dropping competitiveness in recruiting the best and brightest to attend UW and do research.
