Dear Local 4121 Members,
Thanks to everyone for the great response to our bargaining survey. Well over one thousand members participated, from every corner of campus and every job title (TA, RA, SA, Tutor, Grader, Trainee, etc). This input will provide the basis for determining our bargaining goals and priorities, so thanks to all of you for taking the time to help!
We will begin the process of analyzing the responses in the coming days, and would like to encourage continued membership participation. Next week, we’ll also be holding two informal meetings for any interested members to discuss the survey results and give further feedback to help develop bargaining goals. Feel free to bring your lunch for these hour-long discussions:
- Monday (1/23), 12:00 noon in Loew 219
- Tuesday (1/24), 1:00 p.m., Foege N 303
Then on Thursday, January 26th at 4:30 p.m. in EE 125 we’ll have our regular monthly membership meeting, where members will have the opportunity to start voting to ratify our bargaining goals. Voting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in EE 125 and continue until 7:00 p.m. Members can also vote on Friday, January 27th at the following times and locations:
- Red Square by Kane Hall 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon
- Physics/Astronomy Courtyard 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
