For over three weeks, grassroots activists – including UAW 4121 members across the nation – have been taking action to draw attention to mega-banks who are damaging the economy and not paying their fair share of taxes or acting to create jobs.   What began on Wall Street has now spread to over 100 cities across the nation, including Seattle.
As workers, students, and concerned community members it is important that we take action to make our voice heard in Olympia and Washington D.C. this year.  We encourage you to participate in solidarity with the Occupy Seattle actions at Westlake Center.  Please contact our Local’s office if you plan to attend. Let’s make it clear that we need to protect the things that matter and cut loose the entities that don’t need more state support.
