Fund Public Transportation

The legislature still has not closed the multiple (and regressive) tax exemptions that could help fund core public services, including higher education, health care, and basic public safety programs.  In addition this could result in a 17% cut to King County Metro’s bus service.  The loss of bus service would be devastating to hundreds of thousands of commuters.

Help push the legislature to fund public transit:

  1. Sign the online petition in support of Metro Funding.
  2. Attend the public hearing on Tuesday, May 14th @ 4-8:00 p.m. (Union Station, Downtown, 401 S Jackson St.).  You can find more information here and RSVP on facebook here.
