Compensation

Who We Are

Our goal is to ensure that the University of Washington’s graduate compensation package remains competitive with our peer institutions and meets the needs of ASEs faced with the rapidly growing cost of living in Seattle.

What We Do

The compensation workgroup maintains data on: current and projected wages in Seattle, compensations packages at our peer institutions and cost of living. With this information we aim to aid the bargaining committee in both ensuring the University is meeting its contractual obligations to ASEs, and furthering our goal of improving upon competitive compensations packages so that the University of Washington continues to attract talented graduate students in all fields.
