Justice for UW Custodian Rally Cancelled
Please note that Monday’s rally in support of custodian and campus activist Salvador Castillo has been cancelled as a result of his reinstatement late last week. Salvador and his union (WFSE 1488) are grateful for the community support and solidarity that made his reinstatement a reality.
Membership Meeting
Our final membership meeting of the academic year is this Thursday at 4:30pm in Bagley Hall 154. We will discuss ways members can stay involved in strengthening the rights and protections for ASEs as we head into summer and next year.
We will also consider an amendment to the bylaws proposed at the last membership meeting. After hearing the report of the Bylaws Committee, members may vote on and pass the amendment with a 2/3 majority vote.
All members in good standing are encouraged to attend, and as always children are welcome and new members may sign up to join the union at the meeting.
