Our next membership meeting will take place Friday, October 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in LOW 101.
As you know from our recent emails it’s been a busy start to the academic year. At our October membership meeting we’ll have an opportunity to discuss the various issues facing our Local right now, including new mandatory fees, changes to existing fee waivers, problems with workers compensation, to name a few. We’ll also discuss key upcoming political races and hear from a group of members who recently volunteered to formulate an action plan to take on the mega-banks who are not paying their fair share of taxes in Washington State.
