On Wednesday, June 8th, members concluded voting on our new collective bargaining agreement, and approved it by an overwhelming majority (97%).

We want to thank the hundreds of people who came out to the polls in the past two days, and have helped us define and advocate for our priority issues throughout the year.  We’ve benefited from your stories, your constructive feedback, your support and your activism throughout this process.

We also know, based on what we’ve heard since we reached tentative agreement last week, that you still believe we have more work to do.  We concur.  While we’re pleased with the outcome of our collective efforts this year, we’ll soon be gearing up to work together again in the coming year to continue our fight to protect quality, access and innovation at UW.
