UAW 4121 - UW Works Because We Do
Dear UAW Member,

Welcome and welcome back! Hundreds of new ASEs are signing up and more are joining in the coming weeks! Here are some ways you can get involved.

Fall Social

Get your free drink, share some snacks with other members from across campus, and learn a bit about what’s happening this year in the union!

WHEN: Friday, September 29th, 4-6pm

WHERE: Big Time Brewery (41st and the Ave)

**Big Time is accessible and open to all ages before 8pm.  See you there!

I-1631 Canvassing

Join other UAW 4121 members for on-the-ground canvassing on Saturday, October 13 @ 1pm in the fight for equitable climate justice policy!  To find out more information, email the climate justice workgroup at climatejustice@uaw4121.org.

International Students

Due to a recent change in how UW’s payroll system (Workday) reports the number of hours worked per employee, some new questions are being raised with regard to international students and visa requirements. If you have any questions or concerns about this, don’t hesitate to reach out – email uaw4121@uaw4121.org – and we’ll be happy to support you and help resolve any issues.

Free Film Screening

Join us for a free screening of The Organizer – this is a film about the history of community organizing and innovative ways of creating community change through mass mobilization.

WHEN: Tuesday, 10/2 @ 6:30pm
