Thursday, February 11th: 5:00 p.m. Membership Meeting in Loew Hall 106

Today is our February regular membership meeting. The meeting will include report outs about contract enforcement and workgroup actions. Agenda items will include the trans* equity work group reporting on exciting news from Olympia regarding the defeat of discriminatory legislation, and plans for continued action on campus and in the legislature to push for trans* inclusive policies and practices. The political work group will report on its candidate vetting process for the 7th Congressional District and ask members to decide on a recommendation for this seat, as well as discuss the presidential campaign and other upcoming opportunities for membership involvement. We’ll also discuss membership engagement efforts and hear about department meetings where members have been providing input about interests and concerns.  Please make time to attend!

All members in good standing are encouraged to attend, and as always children are welcome and new members may sign up to join the union at the meeting. Membership meetings are a great way to meet other union members and find out how to get more involved. Hope you can make it!

If you can’t make the meeting but have input or questions about these items or anything else, send an email to uaw4121@uaw4121.org
