Our contract expires on Saturday, April 30th, but the University is still refusing to make Academic Student Employees a budgetary priority. The University is claiming that they can’t agree to our proposals because we owe them $1.4 million to cover increases in our health insurance costs. This is outrageous, especially because they already saved money on the plan this year, and overpaid millions of dollars in premiums as a result of mismanaging the plan for the last ten years!
Deliver the message that we won’t stand for this!
