This morning, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 to allow the Muslim ban to continue. This version of the ban limits entry to the United States from citizens of five Muslim-majority countries (Syria, Iran, Libya, Yemen, and Somalia), as well as a small number from North Korea and Venezuela.

Since the Muslim Ban was introduced last year, we have been active in fighting this racist, xenophobic policy. And with today’s tragic decision to uphold the ban and codify hate at the highest levels of government, our resolve only grows.

TODAY at 1pm there will be a press conference and rally in response to the decision at theUS Courthouse downtown:

Please make it if you’re able to help demonstrate opposition to this deeply disturbing decision and the resolve to keep fighting. We will keep you updated with more information about how this decision affects our members and opportunities for fighting back as they develop.

In Solidarity,
UAW 4121 Bargaining Committee
