Tomorrow, Wednesday November 1st, a coalition of housing justice organizations will be hosting an action at City Hall to push for a Seattle City Budget that stops the sweeps of homeless encampments and funds affordable housing instead. This will mark the two-year anniversary of the Seattle state of emergency on homelessness, and will include an all-night campout and teach-in at City Hall.

Please make it to all or part of this important action!

  • 4pm: Rally at City Hall Plaza
  • 4:45pm: Testify at the City Budget Public Hearing
  • 4pm 11/ to 9am 11/2: Campout and Teach-In at City Hall — bring your tents & sleeping bags!

There will also be a collection for supplies like tents, tarps, blankets, and non-perishable food to help prepare for the colder winter months. Please bring anything you can, and you can find a more detailed list of needed supplies here.

Tomorrow’s action will be a great opportunity to continue building a movement to address Seattle’s housing crisis in powerful coalition with our community. Please make it if you can!
