Union passes resolutions calling for solidarity with UAW Local 2865 and union democracy and urging endorsement of Bernie Sanders

At yesterday’s monthly membership meeting UAW members passed two significant resolutions, which you can read here:

1) In solidarity with UAW Local 2865, the Union for student workers at the University of California, whose democratic vote to support the Boycotts, Divestments, and Sanctions movement was nullified  by the UAW International Executive Board (PDF).

2) In support of the UAW International Executive Board endorsing Bernie Sanders for President (PDF).

Membership meetings have been a venue for great discussion and involvement from UAW and community members! We hope you’ll attend our next regular monthly membership meeting scheduled for March 10.
