UAW Local 4121 is co-sponsoring an event on labor and climate change with the Washington State Labor Council, the Martin Luther King County Labor Council, and other unions this Thursday, March 3 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Join union members working in different sectors of the economy to watch This Changes Everything, a film based on Naomi Klein’s book, and discuss how we take action to address the impacts of climate change on our communities and workplaces.

Minimum Wage History Project Website Launch Party

The UW Bridges Center for Labor Students and Labor Archives are launching a new website to detail the recent and ongoing campaigns to pass $15/hour minimum wage in Puget Sound. The website will help ensure that scholars, activists, journalists and others can learn from the hard-fought minimum wage campaigns.
