I-1631 is the most important issue on this year’s ballot.  It’s a sensible first step toward protecting our health, investing in an equitable clean energy economy, and holding big polluters accountable.  It will be a very close race with millions of dollars pouring in from Big Oil to reject this initiative.  This initiative – drafted by communities of color, local tribes, unions, environmentalist – would charge carbon polluters $15 per metric ton of carbon emission with 35% of all investments dedicated to improving the health of the most impacted communities (communities of color and working families) and growing family wage and clean energy jobs.  To win it is imperative that every member vote yes, and get your friends and family to do the same.  Yes on I-1631
