These demands were informed by hundreds of member responses to the recent bargaining survey and are meant to lay the foundation for creating a fair and equitable next contract that serves the needs of Research Scientists, Engineers, Coordinators, and Consultants across UW. Make sure that bargaining gets off to a strong start by signing on to these demands and continuing to be involved during the bargaining process!With each name added to the IBD, we demonstrate to UW that Research Staff are engaged and ready to mobilize to ensure our demands are met. Right now more than ever we need to signal to UW that it needs to prioritize its workers and work with us to push back on the federal attacks on higher education, science, and research.
