This coming Monday people from all sectors of UW’s Research Mission – admin, faculty, fellows, staff, and students – will gather in Olympia to support SB 6321, which would direct six billion dollars to support research across the state of Washington.
This is our chance to communicate directly with our elected representatives about why the work we do is so integral to our state’s future. Research supports tens of thousands of jobs and contributes millions to our economy. As workers in research, we’re here because we’re passionate about the changes we can make to better our world – if we have the funding to support that work. Let’s go fight for it.
