UAW 4121 members have been active participants in the Occupy Wall Street actions, taking place in cities across the U.S.   As workers, students, and concerned community members it is important that we take action to make our voice heard in Olympia and Washington D.C. this year.  Click here to get more involved.

While “Wall Street” has been used as a metonym for the unjust tax system that benefits the few and burdens the many, we’re aware of some very specific instances of this here in Washington.  Check out this article to learn how a tax exemption for out-of-state megabanks costs the state $100 million per year (while the UW state allocation continues to get slashed).
