Earlier this session we delivered a petition to the Legislature with more than 2,500 signatures, urging a strong budget for higher education that relied on progressive revenue sources and and not a targeted tuition surcharge.
Despite this strong coalition statement (and the patently unfair implications of the bill) the surcharge is still under consideration.
Please click here to take action NOW as the Legislature may be hours away from concluding its budget negotiations. Tell your Senator and both Representatives to enact enact fair, progressive revenue sources rather than target international students, who already pay a disproportionately higher amount of tuition/fees.
